I love the mixture of mediums used by British designer David Callow in his illustrations. The collage effect runs through his work, mixing pencil sketches with coloured card pieces to create striking contrasts.I hadn't realised a technique as simple as this could have such impact...defiantly worth remembering. The collage look gives all of his work an inspiring element of depth which is evident in all of his illustrations even though visually they are quite different.

MUY BIEN ,SUERTE........
I love this type of work. The collage works amazing in giving texture and like you said 'depth'. The print over the top gives a vintage feel and a great deal of quality to the design.
I love this more hands on art, something i miss due to the more used computer graphics nowadays.
yeah em, thats's a really valid point actually!
I agree, I totally feel that traditional methods of artwork in the design process is totally overlooked, and as a results a lot of new graphic designers all tend to produce the same kind of work (showing how flashy they think they are on a mac)
The colour combinations and layering to this work is what makes it really stand out, and I am now a big fan of this artist. Good find!
